Who are we?
We are a collective group of parents, teachers and friends of Felixstowe School. Our committee meets regularly and we are always on the lookout for new enthusiastic members to help either on the committee or as part of an event. Anyone who has an interest in Felixstowe School is welcome to be on the committee, you do not have to be a parent.
What do we do?
We raise money for the Felixstowe School by helping out at the school events, as well as running our own. Some examples are car boot sales, quiz nights and murder mystery evenings.
What has money raised by the PTFA been used for?
Profits made by Friends of Felixstowe School (FoFS) have helped various departments within the school including:
- Music
- Design Technology
- Modern Foreign Languages
- Food Technology
- SEN
- Drama
- Science
Comments from staff:
“FoFS are invaluable. Not only do they give up their own time to help provide refreshments at events within the school, they also run their own events which help provide valuable resources to our department. Thank you FoFS!”
“Thanks FoFS. There are so many things we just couldn’t do without your help. Thanks again from all of us here in Design Technology.”
When do we meet?
We meet roughly every month to six weeks on an evening during midweek. Everyone is welcome to attend.
